In terms of design DROID Turbo sports a metal trim bezel outlining the sides of the phone. The DROID Turbo is available in two bodied options: metalized glass fiber (MGF) and nylon fiber. Metalized glass fiber exhibits a rubbery feel just like the older DROIDS and the new nylon fiber one has an attractive look and has a more natural, fabric feel to it. As like any other Mototrola DROIDS, DROID Turbo’s rear casing features ultra-strong Kevlar fiber and also the phone is covered by water-repelling nanocoating, to protect it from the occasional liquid spillage like 20 minutes in rain etc.
Under the hood it features Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 805 (APQ8084 ) clocked at 2.7GHz processor with 600MHz Adreno 420 GPU along with 3GB RAM. It has 32/64GB internal memory and doesnot comes with external storage.

These are Moto Display, which wakes up the phone and displays the time and notifications when you reach for it; Droid Zap, Zap Zone, and Zap to TV for easy sharing of pictures and videos between friends or TVs with Google Chromecast; In addition, the Moto DROID Turbo benefits from Motorola’s contextual awareness and natural language processors to deliver always-on voice control, gestures, and automated information and actions according to your current location or data collected by the device’s sensors. For example, the phone detects you’re driving to work and automatically quiets notifications and gives directions. Since it is Verizon exclusive some of the Verizon bloatware will be also present.
This is one of the features most manufacturers don’t give much importance but Motorola gave up the idea of very wafery thin phone to provide with a huge 3900mAH battery.
